It kept raining. People kept living. Here are some pics and videos of:
1. A classroom in Mumbai (notice the rainfall in background)
2. Smritika’s birthday party
3. Smritika and I finding a slice of sunshine and roaming around the city.
4. What the roads look like
5. Smritika feeling the spice of some delicious street food.
6. A respite from the rain and people doing some public dancing

Hi Josh and Smritika,
You’re still in India and I’m not. Sigh. I’m trying to keep the experience alive. I loved my trip, being at the weddings, meeting your friends, and family, and learning so much about the incredible history and culture. It is endlessly fascinating.
I’m reading a wonderful novel by Mistry and watching everything that I can find India related on Netflix and Amazon.
I hope that you’re both doing well. Thank you for the update. I love the way that people there find a way to enjoy and appreciate things that we might see as hardship. Am I idealizing it too much?
I just finished watching ‘Made in Heaven’. Have you guys seen it? I really want to discuss it with you Smritika. It was so fun to watch the weddings, but the thing that got me was the social commentary! I couldn’t believe it! Was it widely seen in India? Amazing!
Anyway, my heart is still in India, and I’m looking forward to another trip. So much to explore!
Hugs,
Robyn
